Enforcement & By-Law Services - Business in a Residence
Residents in the City of Brampton are permitted to operate a business in their residence. The Zoning by-law allows for some home occupations, but there are stringent requirements and restrictions. Some requirements include the following:
- The business may only occupy a certain percentage (15%) of the house
- Parking must be accommodated in the driveway
The City Clerk’s Office issues Stationary Business Licences for home occupations.
