Enforcement & By-Law Services – Election Signs on City Property
Election signs are not permitted on City Property. An Election sign” means a sign advertising, promoting, supporting or opposing the election of a political party, a candidate for public office, or a “yes” or “no” answer to a question on the ballot in a federal, provincial or municipal election.
Municipal property includes:
- Sidewalks
- Boulevards
- Medians
- ONLY those fences and walls located at Bovaird & Torbram – concrete fence, Sandalwood Parkway & Highway 10 north/east fence and Chinguacousy Rd, north of Queen (to the train tracks)
