Enforcement & By-Law Services - Ticketed with Notice of Construction/Notice of Repair
The City of Brampton may conduct construction/repairs preventing access to your driveway.
In these cases, you are not required to obtain a ‘P’ Permit, using your allotted 14 days for the calendar year.
Residents with a Notice of Construction and/or Notice of Repair are exempt from the following offences for the duration of the project as outlined on the notice:
- Parking 2am to 6am
- Parking in excess of three (3) hours
Notice of Construction and Notice of Repair Letters
- Letters sent by Works & Transportation to permit street parking under the same conditions as a ‘P’ permit without affecting the 14 day annual limit
- Sent when construction will prevent driveway parking – e.g. paving the street or driveway/curb/sidewalk installation or replacement.
- Enforcement is notified and does not ticket in the identified construction/repair area
