Enforcement & By-Law Services - Report Invalid/No Accessible Permit
An Accessible Parking Permit is a card that can be displayed on the dashboard or turned-down sun visor of any vehicle in which a person with a disability is traveling. The permit is issued to a disabled person, not a specific vehicle. The permit entitles the vehicle, which the person named on the permit is traveling in, to park in designated disabled parking, standing and stopping areas.
Accessible Parking Permits are issued free of charge to qualified individuals. The City of Brampton does not issue these permits; the Province of Ontario assumes this responsibility. For more information, please visit Service Ontario.
Accessible Parking Permits displayed in a vehicle must be valid. To report an invalid Accessible Parking Permit, the vehicle must be parked in an accessible parking spot.
If the vehicle is not parked in an accessible spot and you know the license plate or permit number, you can contact Peel Regional Police or Ministry of Transportation to report an invalid Accessible Parking Permit.
