Enforcement & By-Law Services - Report Unknown/Unauthorized Vehicle Parked in a Residential Driveway
By-Law Enforcement will attend and enforce report of an unauthorized/unknown vehicle parked in a Residential driveway if:
- The property owner must call in to report the issue
- The property owner must be on site when the officer arrives to provide proof of ownership and upon request sign the Officer notebook.
- Proof of ownership may be provided in the form of a Driver’s license with property address, bill sent to the owner at this address, or other “soft” identification is sufficient.
An officer will NOT attend if:
- The vehicle belongs to a tenant, neighbour, or friend without first speaking with the person
- The vehicle belongs to a guest/visitor of the tenant without first speaking with the tenant
