Enforcement & By-Law Services – Report of Damage Caused to Street, Boulevard or Road Allowance
Within the City of Brampton Every or Any person who causes damage to the curbs, sidewalks, boulevards or parkland is guilty of an offence.
You are not authorized to damage or alter any city owned property, including:
- Street/road
- Boulevard
- Curb
- Road allowance
Some examples of damage are:
- Something left on the road has broken the surface, e.g., a disposal bin dropped onto the road
- Oil or other substance resulting from a previous leak or spill has destroyed the surface
- The surface of the boulevard or road allowance has been altered, e.g., paved so that it can be used to park cars
If you have witnessed anyone causing damage to city owned property, please report it to City of Brampton by submitting service request.
