City owned trees may not be trimmed, pruned, or removed by anyone other than a city staff or a city contractor. Privately owned trees may require a permit to be removed although you do not require a permit to prune privately owned trees.
Temporary cable TV/telephone wires strung by utilities:
- Concerns about temporary lines should be directed to the cable or phone company unless when strung less than 10 ft above the ground OR are strung along the ground where may cause a tripping hazard
- May cause damage to a tree if strung for more than six weeks
