Enforcement & By-Law Services - Parking Ticket with Accessible Permit

The City of Brampton does not ticket holders of a valid Accessible Parking Permit for the following offences:

  • Parking between 2 AM and 6 AM
  • Parking in an Authorized Residents Parking Zone (ARPZ)
  • Park facing wrong way
  • Parking where parking is prohibited (e.g. sign stating NO PARKING)
  • Depositing money into a parking meter

All other parking violations apply including:

  • Obstructing the access aisle
  • Park in excess of three (3) hours

If you did not have a valid permit displayed at the time the ticket was issued, or the ticket was issued for an offence the permit does not exempt the vehicle from, you have two options (located on back of ticket):

  • Dispute the ticket by booking a screening appointment
  • Pay the ticket

If you have an urgent request or require further assistance, please contact 311 within Brampton or 905-874-2000.
