Enforcement & By-Law Services - Real Estate Signs
The City of Brampton has By-Laws which govern over the placement of all signs. This By-Law includes the placement of For Sale signs as well. All signs which are placed on private property are the responsibility of the property owner to remove.
Specifically, our By-Laws state that For Sale Signs:
- Cannot be on City Property
- Must be placed on private property
- Only one (1) sign is permitted per property.
All For Sale signs which are removed by the City are placed in the garbage and are non-retrievable.
